Ndzundza/Nzunza Portrait

As a tribute to the women of Africa’s most vibrant city and as part of our commitment to rejuvenation and urban renewal of the Johannesburg city centre, City Property commissioned a 10-storey (30 meter) mural in Braamfontein.

The iconic Ndzundza/Nzunza Portrait by renowned artist Hannelie Coetzee and her mostly-all-women team will be unveiled on Women’s Day, 9 August 2018. The mural rises up alongside the Nzunza House building (corner of Melle and Jorissen Streets in Braamfotein) and showcases a blend of modern, traditional and cultural values in inherently found in all of Africa’s women.
