Protea Towers
From R80/m²
About the property
This Art Deco heritage building has an institutional feel to it with wood and marble finishings. Protea Towers was built in two phases, the first commencing in the 1930’s and the second in 1964. The building is made of reconstituted stone with a highly polished granite base spanning two floors. The building runs from Paul Kruger Street to Bank Lane and is backed by the Standard Bank Chambers building, facing onto Church Square. The attention to detail of the exterior Protea carvings and the burglar bars add to the regal feel of this building. The office block was refurbished in 2012 and is ideally situated for financial institutions and lawyer chambers. A great tradition of services deserves an age honoured place of business.
