We are open every day, including weekends and public holidays. Refer to the operating hours listed under The Wash Bar branch you would like to visit.

We have 9 kg commercial Speed Queen washing machines and 8.2 kg commercial tumble dryers.

We do not accept cash or credit cards. Payment is made by scanning the QR via the Zapper app which customers need to download and register for. You can download the Zapper app through your app store, available on: https://www.zapper.com/download-zapper/

We are a self-service laundromat. Bring your own detergent and fabric softener. Each machine has easy instructions and a QR code for payment. Load your items, add your detergent and scan the Zapper QR code to pay. Once payment is made, the machine will be activated. Select your temperature and press start. Set a timer for about 40 mins, cycle durations vary according to the temperature selected. Once the cycle is in progress, our washing machines lock and cannot be interrupted, however our tumble dryers can be opened at any point during the cycle.

We monitor all the stores remotely. There is no one stationed in-store but we are available from 08:00 – 17:00 on 066 295 3800. WhatsApp or call us and we will gladly assist you.

No, you can come whenever — our machines are available on a first come, first serve basis. Weekends tend to be busier than weekdays.

The cycle duration depends on the settings and temperature selected, however on average its about 30 to 40 minutes for washing or drying. The higher the temperature, the longer the cycle. We advise customers to set a timer for 40 minutes so that you remove your items timeously for the next person.

Safe and secure parking is available on the building premises for each Wash Bar that is open to the public.

• The Fields – paid parking in the basement or next to Virgin Active. Parking can be accessed from either Hilda or Festival Street.
• The Park – free parking available directly outside our store, located next to the KFC drive-through.
