In lead-up to Mandela Day City Property partnered with non-profit Rise Against Hunger to pack over 72 576 meals for those in need. 450 of our staff members flocked to 012central to pack the nutritionally balanced meals. The participants were divided into three shifts, each shift packing meals for 67 minutes. These food packs will be distributed to crèches around Gauteng by the NPO.
Our HR Executive, Heather Prinsloo said the following about our CSI project, “Madiba’s quote “the true character of a society is revealed in how it treats its children” is close to our hearts. As a responsible property managing agent we pride ourselves on creating spaces for communities to flourish and we see children as an important part if the community. His words inspired us to make a difference and take action against poverty by partnering up with Rise Against Hunger this year.”
In true City Property spirit, staff members embraced the challenge and were excited to play a role in the project. A heartfelt thank you to our local media partners who showed their support and attended the event. Click on Pretoria East Rekord and Pretoria News to read what the press had to say about the day.
