Shoprite building facelift

The building upgrade will improve the urban landscape of the city, catering for its young and vibrant residents.

A triple volume entrance will be the biggest visual element with escalator access from Helen Joseph Street. A new Shoprite Liquor as well as new retail shops with new seamless shopfronts forms part of the first phase of the upgrade, while the Shoprite will also be upgraded.

Although there will be some inconvenience, there will be no interruption for residential tenants in the vicinity or people working in the inner city who’ll still be able to do their daily shopping at Africa’s largest supermarket retailer.

The second phase will cater for retail tenants on the first floor. The completion of the upgrade is aimed for mid-December.
