City Property acknowledged receipt of a memorandum

21 Jun 2016
We understand that the City of Tshwane facilitated elections amongst informal traders in region 3 (CBD).  We have met with both the elected officials representing the informal traders as well as other representatives of smaller groupings of traders.

The concerns raised by the forum pertaining to position, rights, licenses, etc. must be addressed by the City of Tshwane, which has the authority to make decisions in this regard.

We want to thank the forum for the peaceful march and will continue to engage with all stakeholders that have an interest in the CBD.
